Well,
it's typical spring weather isn't it? Sunny one minute, chilly and
blustery the next. And this year the pollen seems to be getting
everywhere. A lot of our regular patients have been following a
homeopathic hayfever desensitisation programme since last October, in a
bid to stave off the dreaded hayfever symptoms that can make this time
of year just plain miserable. Fingers crossed it seems to be working
for them.
Personally, I haven't suffered from hayfever for years. But lately I
had a headache that just would not go away no matter what I tried.
Eventually I put myself on the asyra to see what it came up with (what
is it they say about doctors making the worst patients? The same is
definitely true for homeopaths!) and low and behold, one of the first
things it came up with was pollen - grass, tree, flower, shrub - you
name it I was showing up as being sensitive to it. So, along with
upping my daily dose of bee pollen I took the asyra remedy and, touch
wood, have been headache free for a couple of days now. For some
reason it never occured to me that the headaches could be hayfever
related as I didn't have the classic runny nose and sore eyes, but it
seems obvious now I've had it pointed out to me!
For anyone else who's suffering this spring, don't just grin and bear
it. There are lots of things you can do - you could try homeopathic
remedies, tissue salts, dietary changes, or even an asyra remedy. Give
us a call and we'll give you some free advice on what remedy would be
best for you, based on your symptoms.
